Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Cups

Ingredients:

3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips vegan chocolate chips can be used for a plant-based option
1 cup chunky peanut butter
6 tablespoons honey agave or maple syrup for vegan option
1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Preparation: Line a muffin tin with paper or silicone liners.

Peanut Butter Mixture: In a saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, honey, and salt, stirring until smooth and well-blended, then remove from heat.

Mixing: Fold Rice Krispies cereal into the peanut butter mixture until evenly coated.

Forming Cups: Spoon the mixture into the muffin tin, pressing gently to form the base of each cup.

Melting Chocolate: Melt chocolate chips in a separate saucepan over low heat until smooth and glossy.

Assembly: Spoon melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture in each cup, spreading evenly.

Chilling: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate is set.

Serving: Remove from refrigerator, peel away liners, and enjoy.
