Ingredients:
1 pound (0.4kg) chicken tenders
1 tsp smoked paprika
3 dashes of cayenne powder
4 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
3 – 4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp bottled Italian seasoning (Simply Organic or McCormick brand)
salt, to taste
½ tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped parsley
lemon wedges
Directions:
-Season with cayenne pepper and smoked paprika the chicken tenders.
-Place a cast-iron skillet on the stove and turn the heat to high.
-Add 3 tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt.
-Add the chicken tenders and cook each side for 2 minutes.
-Set aside the chicken tenders and add the rest of the butter.
-Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
-Add the Italian seasoning and stir everything until well mixed. Make sure that the chicken tenders are well coated with the sauce.
-Add lemon juice and salt. Stir and cook until the chicken tenders and brown.
-Add the parsley and stir until mixed.
-Remove the skillet from the heat.
-Serve the chicken tenders hot with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
