Ingredients:
1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers biscuits (8 biscuits)
8 mozzarella cheese cubes (about 3/4-inch size)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Marinara sauce or ranch dressing (optional, for dipping)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Biscuits and Cheese
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Separate the Biscuits: Open the can of Pillsbury Grands! biscuits and separate them into 8 individual biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half to make 16 pieces.
Prepare the Cheese Cubes: Cut the mozzarella cheese into 3/4-inch cubes. You should have 16 cheese cubes, one for each biscuit piece.
Step 2: Assemble the Cheese Bombs
Flatten the Biscuits: Take each biscuit half and gently flatten it with your fingers to form a small circle, about 3 inches in diameter.
Add the Cheese: Place one cube of cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit piece.
Seal the Biscuits: Fold the edges of the biscuit dough around the cheese cube, pinching the seams tightly to seal the cheese inside. Roll gently to form a smooth ball.
Place on Baking Sheet: Arrange the sealed biscuit balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
Step 3: Prepare the Garlic Butter
Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning or parsley, salt, and garlic powder. Stir well to combine.
Brush the Biscuits: Use a pastry brush to generously coat the tops and sides of each biscuit ball with the garlic butter mixture. Reserve a little bit of the garlic butter for later.
Step 4: Bake the Cheese Bombs
Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese bombs are golden brown and puffed up.
Brush with Remaining Butter: Remove from the oven and immediately brush the cheese bombs with the remaining garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Cool Slightly and Serve: Allow the cheese bombs to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping, if desired. Enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!
