Salted Caramel Cake with Kentucky Buttercream

Ingredients:

3 cups/13 1/2 ounces flour (all purpose)
2 cups sugar (granulated)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 c butter (room temperature)
2 t vanilla
4 eggs
Sauce:
3/4 c sugar
1/3 c butter
3 tsp of water
2 tsp vanilla

How to make It:

-Preheat oven to 325 degrees F .

-Generously grease & flour in a 12C skillet or 10 inch tube pan.

-In bowl, mixing flour, 2 c sugar, salt, baking powder also club soda, milk, 1 cup butter, 2 teaspoons vanilla & eggs. beat on low speed until moist. Increase blender speed to and beat for 3 more mn. Putting mix in the cake pan & spread it evenly.
Baking cake in preheated oven for 55 to 65 min

-Meantime, in saucepan over medium heat, blend 3/4 cup sugar, 1/3 cup butter, 3 tsp water and 2 tso vanilla; Cook, stirring, until the butter melts. Do not bring the mixture to a boil.

-Remove cake to wire rack and pierce with fork or skewer while still in pan. A spicy butter sauce is poured on hot cake.
