Savory Potato and Ground Beef Rolls

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes

300g ground beef

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

-Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks.

-Boil the potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, then drain and mash them until smooth. Set aside to cool.

-Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

–Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.

–Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.

–Season with paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

-Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.

–Take a spoonful of mashed potatoes and flatten it into a disc in the palm of your hand.

–Place a spoonful of the cooked ground beef mixture in the center of the potato disc.

–Carefully fold the potato over the filling, shaping it into a roll. Seal the edges tightly to prevent any filling from leaking out.

-Place the assembled rolls onto the greased baking sheet.

–Brush each roll with beaten egg wash for a golden finish.

–Optional: Sprinkle grated cheese over the top of each roll for added flavor.

-Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy.

-Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

–Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

–Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them on their own.
