Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites

There’s nothing I adore more during busy hosting seasons than a hearty little appetizer that practically cooks itself. These Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites are the kind of dish that fills the kitchen with a sweet, comforting aroma while you focus on everything else. Tender apples, smoky sausage, and a bright little pop of Dijon all mingle together into a glossy, irresistible party bite. It’s simple, satisfying, and always one of the first things to disappear from the table.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 crisp apples, cored and diced
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup apple cider or unsweetened apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Lightly mist the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray, or line it if you prefer an easier cleanup afterward.
  2. Arrange the sliced kielbasa in an even layer along the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir together the diced apples, brown sugar, apple cider, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
  4. Pour the apple mixture over the sausage, making sure it’s nicely covered. Cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 1–2 hours, depending on your schedule.
  5. When everything is bubbling and tender, give the mixture a gentle stir so each bite gets coated in that sweet-savory sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if you’d like a pop of color, and serve warm.
  6. If you’re setting this out for guests, switch the slow cooker to the keep warm setting so everyone can nibble throughout the gathering.
