Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and while hot, mix in cream cheese until fully melted and combined.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, green pepper, onions, carrots, garlic, and Italian seasoning until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Return mixture to skillet and stir in spaghetti sauce. Heat until combined.
- Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish. Layer spaghetti over sauce, then top with remaining meat sauce.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese and mozzarella evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve warm.
Notes
Add red pepper flakes for a little heat or mix ricotta with the cream cheese for extra creaminess.
