- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and vegetable oil.
- Add cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder until fully incorporated.
- Fold in chopped apples and walnuts, then pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Pecans can be substituted for walnuts.
