Ingredients
  

  • 12 chocolate cupcakes baked and cooled
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 to 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • chocolate sprinkles optional
  • shredded coconut optional
  • mini chocolate eggs
  • food coloring optional for tinting coconut

Method
 

  1. Bake chocolate cupcakes and allow them to cool completely.
  2. Beat butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
  3. Add vanilla and milk, beating until frosting is creamy and spreadable.
  4. Spread or pipe frosting onto each cupcake, shaping a nest with a small center dip.
  5. Optional: add sprinkles or coconut for texture, tinting coconut green if desired.
  6. Place 2–3 mini chocolate eggs in the center of each nest.
  7. Serve immediately or store in a cool place until ready to enjoy.

Notes

For extra texture, use a fork to lightly drag through the frosting. These cupcakes can be made ahead and decorated just before serving for best results.
