- Bake chocolate cupcakes and allow them to cool completely.
- Beat butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add vanilla and milk, beating until frosting is creamy and spreadable.
- Spread or pipe frosting onto each cupcake, shaping a nest with a small center dip.
- Optional: add sprinkles or coconut for texture, tinting coconut green if desired.
- Place 2–3 mini chocolate eggs in the center of each nest.
- Serve immediately or store in a cool place until ready to enjoy.
Notes
For extra texture, use a fork to lightly drag through the frosting. These cupcakes can be made ahead and decorated just before serving for best results.
