Method
- Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread tater tots evenly in the bottom of the dish and bake for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon until crispy and crumble. In a large bowl, mix sour cream, 3/4 of the bacon, 1 1/2 cups cheese, half the green onions, and jalapeños.
- Fold shredded chicken into the mixture until evenly combined.
- Spread the mixture over the partially baked tater tots. Top with remaining cheese, bacon, and green onions.
- Return to oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
Notes
Adjust spice by reducing jalapeños or leaving some seeds in for heat. Serve with ranch or sour cream for dipping.
