Ingredients
  

  • 1 box dark chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups halved
  • vanilla ice cream for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, peanut butter, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until thick and creamy.
  4. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter. Sprinkle chocolate chips and halved Reese’s cups on top, pressing lightly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set but still slightly gooey in the center. Do not overbake.
  6. Cool completely before slicing. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
