Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 10 oz Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies drained very well
  • 16 oz refrigerated crescent rolls 2 cans

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a bowl, mix cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and well-drained Rotel until fully combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create smaller triangles.
  4. Spoon a small amount of filling onto each triangle and roll up from the wide end to the tip.
  5. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Add shredded cheddar for extra richness or use spicy sausage for more heat. Best served fresh and warm.
