Ingredients
Method
- Place the pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker in a mostly single layer.
- Season lightly with salt and black pepper, if desired.
- Spoon the cream soup over the pork chops and spread it gently to cover.
- Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the soup-covered pork chops.
- For softer stuffing, mix the stuffing with 1/4 to 1/2 cup chicken broth first, then spoon it over the pork chops.
- Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 2 1/2–3 1/2 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
- Check the stuffing texture before serving. If too dry, drizzle with warm broth and fluff gently with a fork.
- If the stuffing is too wet, remove the lid for 10–15 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with stuffing spooned over each pork chop and creamy sauce from the slow cooker.
Notes
Bone-in chops may need a little extra time, while thin boneless chops cook faster. Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, or applesauce for a classic dinner.
