Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk for cheesecake layer
  • 12 oz whipped topping divided
  • 2 boxes instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 oz each
  • 3 1/4 cups whole milk for pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
  • white chocolate curls optional
  • crushed candy canes optional

Method
 

  1. Crush cookies and mix with melted butter. Press into a 9x13 pan and chill.
  2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, and milk until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over crust.
  3. Whisk pudding mix with milk until thick, then spread over cheesecake layer.
  4. Top with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Add optional garnishes and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For best texture and flavor, chill overnight. Use finely crushed cookies for a firm, even crust.
