AMISH CHICKEN (IT MAKES ITS OWN GRAVY WHILE BAKING)

Amish Chicken I really liked the taste of the gravy with the chicken. I served it with egg noodles and it was a delicious combo. This is great comfort food to me and easy to put together.

I made this Amazing recipe Last week, and I really loved it and enjoyed it with my friends and family. It came out very tasty and flavorful.

To make this amazing Recipe You’ll need the following ingredients:

Ingredients:

6 -8 chicken pieces, cleaned

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

2 teaspoons paprika

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour and spices and arrange skin side up in a baking dish.

Mix the cream and water and pour over the chicken. Bake at 350* for 1 1/2 hours or until the skin is golden brown.

Excellent recipe! I love Amish food and this really hit the spot! For people wanting to make gravy with the seasoned flour, I recommend you reserve 1/4 cup of the seasoned flour prior to dipping the raw chicken. It’s always better to be safe than risk your family’s health.
