Cheesy Baked Asparagus

Ingredients:

2 lb fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
salt and pepper to taste
4 garlic cloves, minced
¾ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ tsp red pepper flakes, or to taste

Instructions:

-Preheat oven to 400ºF. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
-Place trimmed asparagus spears in the baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
-Pour heavy cream over asparagus.
-Top the asparagus with parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
-Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
-Turn on the broiler and broil until the cheese is golden brown.
