Slow Cooker Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken

When you need something hearty and comforting with very little effort, this creamy bacon ranch chicken fits the bill perfectly. It’s rich, cheesy, and packed with that familiar ranch flavor everyone loves. Best of all, it cooks low and slow until the chicken is fall-apart tender and absolutely delicious. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy weekends at home.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Lightly coat your slow cooker with nonstick spray or a bit of butter.
  2. Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing mix, softened cream cheese, and chicken broth until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the mixture over the chicken, spreading it evenly.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top. Cover again and let it melt beautifully into the sauce.
  7. Just before serving, top with crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of fresh green onions.
  8. Serve warm—straight from the slow cooker if you like—and enjoy every creamy, savory bite!
