Ingredients
  

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 lb bacon cooked and cut into pieces
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 12 oz shredded cheddar cheese divided

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with garlic and onion powder until browned and crumbly. Drain excess fat.
  3. Spread cooked beef evenly in the casserole dish and stir in bacon pieces.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until combined. Stir in about 8 oz of the shredded cheese.
  5. Pour egg mixture over the beef and bacon. Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until set and golden brown on top.
  7. Let rest a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Add pickles or diced tomatoes on top for a true cheeseburger twist. Serve with a side salad or roasted veggies.
