Homemade Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

Golden, cheesy breadsticks brushed with garlic butter and topped with melty mozzarella and parmesan. These easy oven-baked sticks are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side for pasta nights.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1 tsp butter melted
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded, more if desired
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano leaves optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Roll out pizza crust evenly on the tray.
  2. Mix melted butter with crushed garlic and brush evenly over the entire surface of the dough.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the dough. Add oregano if using.
  4. Cut dough into 16 equal rectangles using a pizza cutter or knife before baking.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes, until cheese is melted and lightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven, re-cut along lines if needed, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with marinara or ranch dipping sauce. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
