Cinnamon Roll French Toast Rolls

Ingredients:

8 slices white bread crusts removed
2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
¼ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp unsalted butter for frying
Maple syrup or powdered sugar for serving

Instructions:

-Prepare the Bread: Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread.

-Make the Filling: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon to form a paste.

-Fill and Roll the Bread: Spread a thin layer of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on each slice of bread. Roll up tightly, sealing the seam.

-Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

-Coat the Rolls: Dip each roll into the egg mixture, fully coating it.

-Cook the Rolls: Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the rolls, seam-side down, until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

-Serve: Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup or dusted with powdered sugar.
