Sausage, Egg & Cream Cheese Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

2 pounds hot breakfast sausage

2 (8-ounces) packages cream cheese, room temperature

1 (30-32ounces) bag frozen shredded hash browns

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon pepper

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon onion powder

2 c shredded cheddar cheese

8 Eggs

2 c milk

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.

Step 3: Add the sausage and cook until brown.

Step 4: Discard the excess grease.

Step 5: Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and transfer it into a mixing bowl with cream cheese. Stir until well mixed.

Step 6: In the same skillet, add the hash browns. Cook for a few minutes until they turn brown.

Step 7: Remove from the heat and transfer the hash browns into a greased 9×13-inch pan.

Step 8: Spread the sausage mixture over the hash browns.

Step 9: Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese on top of the sausage mixture.

Step 10: In a medium mixing bowl, add the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 11: Spread the mixture on top of the hash browns.

Step 12: Cover the baking pan and place it inside the fridge.

Step 13: Place it inside the oven and bake for 40 minutes or until done.

Step 14: Serve and enjoy!
