CHEESY GROUND BEEF AND CABBAGE SKILLET

INGREDIENTS :

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper…combine and store in an airtight container)
10 ounces can diced tomatoes with green chillies, undrained
3 cups chopped cabbage
10 ounces beef broth
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS :

Step 1: Place a skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.

Step 2: Add the ground beef and cook until crumbly and brown.

Step 3: Discard any accumulated grease.

Step 4: Add the garlic, onion, bell pepper, house seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.

Step 5: Add the broth, tomatoes, and cabbage. Stir until well mixed.

Step 6: Cover the skillet with a lid and adjust the heat down to medium.

Step 7: Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until the cabbage is just tender.

Step 8: Remove the cover and add in the cheese. Stir until melted and blended.

Step 9: Remove from the heat.

Step 10: Serve this dish over rice. Enjoy!
